Louth International Film Festival (LIFF) returns to our screens in Dundalk from September 27th – 29th Presented by the Louth Filmmakers Society in collaboration with An Táin Art Centre and DKIT.

LIFF stands as a testament to its commitment to supporting emerging filmmakers and showcasing captivating, evocative cinema from around the world. From gripping documentaries to captivating dramas and animations, LIFF celebrates the power of visual storytelling.

Renowned Dundalk filmmaker John Moore is a strong supporter of the Louth International Film Festival.   He will be flying in this Friday to open the festival. John takes great pride in his Dundalk roots, and we invite his fans, family and friends to join us at the IMC Cinema at 5:20 pm this Friday for a special Q&A and screening of his film, Flight of the Phoenix.

We’re excited to announce that one of the highlights of the festival is the documentary One-Armed Wonder about the extraordinary life of Dundalk FC’s Jimmy Hasty. One-Armed Wonder recently won Outstanding Short Documentary at the 2024 Sport Emmys and was awarded the Jury Special Prize at the 2023 Sportel Awards. The filmmakers are flying in from the UK for the FREE screening and to participate in a Q&A session!

The festival is three days of awe-inspiring films, engaging discussions, and unforgettable moments learn more: https://www.antain.ie/…/louth-international-film…/
