Revenue is holding further online events in May and June through Eventbrite to give an overview of Enhanced Reporting Requirements (‘ERR’) for expenses/benefits paid without the deduction of tax to employees or directors. The requirement to report the details of these expenses and benefits applies from 1 January 2024.
Finance Act 2022 introduced Section 897C which now requires employers to report details of expenses/benefits made to employees and directors. This webinar will provide employers with the most up to date information regarding the new obligations.
These sessions are intended to provide employers with an understanding of their responsibilities and obligations regarding this additional reporting requirement. In this first phase, employers are required to report the expenses and benefits under the following 3 categories from the 1st January 2024:
Small benefit exemption
Remote Working daily allowance
Travel and subsistence
Events take place on Tuesday 21st May or Thursday 13th June. A link to the online session will be provided in your free “ticket” from Eventbrite. You will only need to attend one of these events in the series. Book a place here.
Attendees will not be able to use their mics, cameras, or the chat functions in MS Teams during these sessions. Q&A will be open within the Live event after the delivery of the presentation.
While they will make their best effort to answer the most common questions on the day, they will use further publications and the information hub on their website on an ongoing basis to keep stakeholders informed. Visit www.revenue.ie/err for updates.
