The UK Government HAS announced a new Border Target Operating Model (TOM), which will impose a series of customs controls on exports to the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) on an iterative basis beginning on 31 October 2023. Due to the Northern Ireland Protocol/Windsor Framework, there will be no changes for anyone moving goods between Ireland and Northern Ireland.
