Dundalk has an extremely active Chamber of Commerce. Dundalk’s business network and business voice consist of 19 members representing all business sectors in the town.  Chamber members meet monthly with a view to promoting economic development throughout Dundalk.  The Dundalk Chamber provides invaluable networking opportunities along with the support of business peers.  Members enjoy the benefits of the Chamber’s lobbying and representation nationally, training programmes and promotion.

Louth County Enterprise Board is the primary agency in County Louth dedicated to the development of micro-enterprise. The Board has been in existence now for over a decade and its experienced staff members have provided advice, counselling, training, finance and resource development support to well over 2,000 local enterprises. It provides training, financial aid, mentoring and networking opportunities.

The Regional Development Centre based at Dundalk Institute of Technology acts as the Institute’s Innovation Support and Technology Transfer organisation. The Centre acts as a commercially-oriented interface between DKIT and the industrial, commercial and business life of the region, and makes available the expertise, facilities and resources of the Institute for the wider benefit of the regional economy.

Creative Spark was established in 2012 to promote innovative and creative businesses, including new and established enterprises in Louth and the wider north-east region. Providing dedicated training and ‘learning lab’ facilities and affordable workspace, Creative Spark offers an environment where innovation and creativity can flourish. Networking, peer-to-peer exchange and connectivity are a daily reality for the business community working, learning and meeting in the centre.
