Programme overview
This practical Coaching models of Practice Programme is designed to develop a structured approach to developing the skills and knowledge of others. This comprehensive programme will enable individuals to acquire a knowledge and understanding of the coaching process, the variety of styles, skills and techniques that are appropriate to the context in which the coaching and mentoring takes place.
Participants will learn best practice techniques and models in coaching and acquire a recognised QQI qualification in Coaching – Level 6
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the training programme, participants will:
- Understand GROW coaching model
- Learn how to apply the GROW framework while coaching others
- Gain a range of coaching communication and interpersonal skills in order to be able to effectively coach others
- Gain confidence and skills to complete a short coaching demonstration of 30 minutes duration
