Following on from the Dundalk Chamber’s School Mentorship Programmes strong start to 2024, on Friday morning the programme’s volunteer mentors led by Jenny Grey from Staffline facilitated Mock Interviews in St Vincent’s Secondary School.
Transition Year students met with local business professionals and completed interviews based on their professional, academic and professional experience to date. The students were exceptional and made it a difficult choice for our mentors to choose who they would ‘award the job’ to at the end.
All of us were very impressed with the calibre of the student, their engagement and preparation, which was in no small part due to their teachers, Helen Daly Deputy Principal and Laura Povall Guidance Department.
Thanks to St Vincent’s Secondary School for their warm welcome and to our mentors for offering their time to help instil confidence to the next generation. Volunteer mentors were drawn from Staffline Recruitment, Malone and Co., RBC Brewin Dolphin and PayPal.
