Una McGoey (President)

Una McGoey, Anu Change (http://www.anuchange.com), provides a range of management services to business clients. She has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, working in a variety of roles.

Una is also a QFA who holds Post Grad in Leading and Managing People. As an approved Business Mentor, Accredited Coach (IAPC&M) and Certified Trainer she provides a range of private organisations and public agencies specialising in Leadership Development.

Accredited to administer and deliver ECR & ECR360 (Emotional Capital Report) working with organisations helping them to retain and manage talent while developing and enhancing leadership effectiveness.

Una McGoey (President) :

Thomas McDonagh (Treasurer)

Thomas is Treasurer for Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, he is also the Network Promoter for the Dundalk Chamber Skillnet.

Outside his Chamber activities Thomas is a qualified accountant and auditor. He is a director of UHY Farrelly Dawe White Limited. UHY Farrelly Dawe White Limited (http://www.fdw.ie) are an Audit, Tax and Advisory practice with offices in Dundalk, Balbriggan and Dublin City.

Thomas McDonagh (Treasurer) :

Paddy Malone (PRO)

Paddy is a graduate of UCD, B. Comm; a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and an Associate of The Irish Tax Institute. For the last 30 years he has run his own accounting practise. He is an accredited advisor for InterTrade.

Paddy has held various posts within Dundalk Chamber over the last 20 years including President, Treasurer and currently PRO. He served on the Louth Economic Forum and the SPC and in 2019 he was appointed Chair of the Governing Body of DkIT.

He has participated in Chamber Irelands Budget submissions and prepared submissions on An All Island Economy and the 2040 National Development Plan.

Paddy Malone (PRO) :

Sean Farrell

Sean Farrell has been an active member within the Chamber for over 10 years during which time Sean became involved in many initiatives and sub-committees under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce.

Former chairperson of Dundalk Tourism Committee, Chamber Representative as a committee member for Dundalk Tidy Towns, Founder member and current chairperson of Dundalk Town Watch again in conjunction with Dundalk Chamber and Dundalk BIDS.

Having worked in Dublin for over 15 years, Sean took up a managerial position in Marshes Shopping Centre in 2005 and with over 25 years of retail experience is currently the centre manager and has been pivotal in establishing Marshes S.C. as the premier retail destination in the North east.

 

Sean Farrell :

Michael Gaynor

Michael has a BA Hons: H.Dip. (Small Enterprise Support). He has served Seven years on the Board of Dundalk Chamber of Commerce during which time he served one year as Vice President and three years as Chamber President.

He has also spent the last four years on the Board of BIDS (Dundalk Business Investment District).

His Current Operations include Special Stories Publishing.

Michael Gaynor :

Pat McCormack

Past President of Dundalk Chamber of Commerce. Head of Department of Engineering Trades and Civil Engineering in Dundalk Institute of Technology. Originally from Dundalk, Pat grew up in a local retail business and studied engineering.

Worked in civil engineering design, construction and project management. Experience with small and large enterprises, local authorities, and private practice and most recently in education and training. Closely involved with industry and professionals in the manufacturing, construction and exporting businesses for over twenty-five years.

Pat McCormack :

David Minto

Past Vice President David has been on the board of Management of Dundalk Chamber for the past five years.

He was Chairman of the St Patrick’s Day Parade committee for three years and Chairman of the record-breaking Dundalk Santa Fun Run.

David has worked in Industry and Logistics for the past 30 Years holding various managerial roles and is currently the Chief Business officers with Dundalk Football Club.

David Minto :

Paddy Matthews

Paddy Matthews is founder and owner of Matthews.ie. Paddy joined the Dundalk Chamber management team in 2009. He was Vice President from 2011 to 2012 becoming Chamber President in 2013.

During his two years as Chamber President he spearheaded the Shop Local Voucher Scheme, which was launched early 2015, the aim of the vouchers was to sustain local employment and help local retail. Since its inception the scheme has sold over €3 million in vouchers with over 330 outlets accepting them.

Paddy Matthews :

Orla McDonnell

Orla McDonnell is the founder of OMD Consultancy, a business consultancy agency that offers a range of business solutions from trading strategy, business planning and marketing. An experienced accredited Executive Coach, Mentor and Trainer with over 30 years experience.

Orla is a Business Graduate of the University of Ulster and DKIT. Orla is a director of My Wedding Whizz, a new start up business launching August 2020.

Orla McDonnell :

Frankie Watters

Frankie is the Secretary and a Director of Dundalk Credit Union Limited. He is also the Treasurer and a Director of Creative Spark CLG.

He served as Senior Lecturer in Law at DkIT for over 30 years and is a former President of the Irish Association of Law Teachers.

Frankie is the Chair of the NE committee of the Women’s FAI and is a member of the National Women’s Committee of the FAI. He has served a member of the management committee of the Chamber for 8 years.

Frankie’s has a particular interest in Employment Law.

Frankie Watters :

Francis Murphy

A graduate of UCD in B. Comm and MBS, Francis has been an active member on Dundalk Chamber board of Management for more than 15 years having also served as Vice President. He is also a board member of Dundalk Enterprise Development Company.

Francis is Head of Sales for Stratum (http://www.stratum.ie) who provide software solutions for logistics companies across Europe. He holds memberships of the Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics (CILT) and the Freight Transport Association (FTA) having 30 years’ experience in transport and logistics.
