The PGA Irish Championship was first staged in 1907, and is one of the oldest professional golf tournaments in existence. It was previously staged at Dundalk Golf Club in 1953 and 1969. Previous winners include Padraig Harrington, Paul McGinley and Christy O Connor Snr to name but a few.
LowFuelCard.ie, the commercial fuel division of Applegreen (an Irish-owned business), has agreed to sponsor the 2015 event at Dundalk Golf Club with the Sponsors’ Pro-Am taking place on Wednesday, September 30th, and the Championship from October 1st to 4th.
