County Louth Agricultural Show 2011 Gallops To State of The Art Venue.
After the astounding success of the County Louth Agricultural Show 2010 which attracted over 20,000 people the show is now moving to an even bigger venue at Dundalk Stadium on Sunday 19th June 2011. The state of the art Dundalk Stadium, the most modern entertainment venue in the North East is located just off the main M1/N1 and will be the perfect host for The County Louth Agricultural Show where over 40,000 people are expected to attend the perfect day out for all the family.
The County Louth Agricultural Show showcases the best of produce, skills, crafts and traditions of the county and always proves to be a very entertaining and live day out. Yet again the County Louth Agricultural Show will provide free children’s entertainment on the day to ensure that cost is not a hindrance for family fun. Amusements will include Bungee runs, bouncy castles, gladiators and giant slides with more to be announced. Some new events have been added which are guaranteed to provide great amusement such as the ‘Wife Carrying Race’ and ‘Welly Throwing’ Competitions! The Breakfast Show with Hector on 2FM are throwing their weight behind the Wife Carrying Race and want people who attend the show to send in photos and video footage of the race!
Once again, there are numerous classes for Cattle, Sheep, Horses and Ponies, Arts, Crafts, Horticulture, Home Industries, Photography, Baking, Flower Arranging. Classes for children and those with Special Needs are also a part of the Show and not forgetting the ever popular Dog Show, Bonny Baby competition and Best Dressed competitions.
In response to the demand for competition and event information, the team in the TCCM Office at the Market Square, Dundalk will be on hand in the run up to the County Louth Agricultural Show to provide entry forms, carry out show registration and give regular updates about the day.
