BBC Racing pundit appearing at Dundalk Stadium

Gary Wiltshire, ‘The Belly from The Telly;’ will be attending Dundalk Stadium this coming Friday night (2nd Dec.) to officially sign copies of his autobiography and meet with racing fans. The imposing presence of Gary Wiltshire has long been one of the familiar and colourful sights on the racecourses and dog tracks of Britain. Biggest of the big gamblers, Gary has been punter, racecourse bookmaker, and in recent years television pundit, heading BBC coverage of the betting ring.

The wise-cracking pundit is famously known for many things, however, most notably when he lost £800,000 on the day of Frankie Dettori’s ‘Magnificent Seven’ at Ascot – and then sold all he had so that he could pay off every penny he owed, and start again. Gary Wiltshire will be in attendance for ‘one night only’ and the opportunity to attend the signing is open to all customers at the 2nd December meeting at Dundalk Stadium. As Gary Wiltshire is a guest of Bar One Racing ahead of the prestigious Bar One Racing Jump Racing Weekend at Fairyhouse racecourse this weekend (Sat. 3rd & Sun. 4th Dec.), we have 6 VIP Packages to the Fairyhouse races on Sunday 4th September 2011 courtesy of Bar One Racing to give away at Dundalk Stadium on Friday 2nd December.  The 6 packages include entrance to the races for two people, and a €25 free bet with Bar One Racing.  You must be in attendance on the evening for a chance to win. First race goes to post at 6.30pm
