Riva townhouse, the newly opened and award winning eatery at no. 1 Jocelyn Place in Dundalk has officially launched ‘Affordable Glamour’, its month-long Christmas celebration of dining in glamourous surroundings at affordable prices.
Owner managed by local business people, Tim and Bernie Murphy, Riva townhouse has created 10 new jobs in Dundalk since it opened in October this year.
Both management and staff came together recently on the steps of their ‘no. 1’ impressive Georgian building to announce the launch of their ‘Affordable Glamour’ dining offer for the month of December.
In order to support their local charity, the Simon Community, Riva townhouse and its sister restaurant Riva Brasserie will each raffle a luxury hamper with all proceeds raised going entirely to the Simon Community to help support the good work it does.
Following on from their hugely successful bustling town centre Riva brasserie, this is Tim and Bernie Murphy’s second venture in the restaurant world and they are very pleased to bring Riva townhouse to its customers from near and far and provide a new dining experience in Dundalk.
Situated in the basement this beautiful Georgian building at no. 1 Jocelyn Place is the very well dressed Deli serving hot food from 10am until 6pm Monday to Saturday. A full takeaway service is also on offer and a large range of retail food products are on sale in the Deli that include jams, marinades, oils, cheeses, chocolate dressing for ice-creams, olives and great wines.
The scullery Jane’s Jams and the famous Castle Leslie range are some of the Artisan’s foods that are on offer, along with the special Riva townhouse homemade pestos, tapenades and hummus. New luxury hampers are also available from the Deli made-to-order to service any budget keeping in mind the ‘Affordable Glamour theme for December.
The Dining Room is enchanting and very elegant with airy surroundings that compliment a fabulous mouth-watering menu, now offering main course lunches priced at €9.95 from 12pm to 3pm daily and evening three-course dining priced at €19.95 from 5.30pm to 9.30pm Wednesdays through to Sundays.
Riva townhouse is a charming place for intimate lunches or dinner whether celebrating with friends or having a romantic dinner for two.
