Dundalk Chamber hosted a very successful Sporting lunch in the Crowne Plaza last Friday. Sponsored by Ulster Bank over one hundred business people turned out to hear Colm Corrigan of LMFM interview some of our finest stars and managers.
It was an opportunity for members of the Chamber to meet some of sports finest players and managers including All Ireland Hurler Sean Og O’hAilpin and Armagh All Ireland Manager Joe Kernan. Dundalk Manager Stephen Kenny was also there and brought Dundalk FC’s trophies with him for all to see. Stephen along with Sean and Joe answered questions put to them by Colm Corrigan of LMFM and from the audience.
This event was a fundraiser for youth sports awareness in disadvantaged areas of the North East. Sponsored by Ulster Bank it really was a memorable occasion. Local company Horseware gave a gift of their fabulous Horseware Jackets to the speakers.
Sean O’Hanrahan, Head of North East Business Centre for Ulster Bank added: “Ulster Bank is delighted to be associated with the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce Sporting Lunch”.
This is just one in a series of events being organized by Dundalk Chamber.
