At 4.15am on Saturday morning, the 7th May, we will gather at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT) to fight against suicide, to promote positive mental health and to remember our loved ones we have lost.
This is a special incredibly emotional walk and some highlights this year include:
- We will have a silent kilometer from Hoey’s Lane back to DkIT in remembrance
- There will be music entertainment before we set off from Alan Foran and his band ‘Long Time Coming’
- Free tea, coffee, fruit and treats on your return to DkIT Main Canteen
- Sign our Banner of Hope and get a photograph with our candle display
If you wish to get a new t-shirt please register at https://www.darknessintolight.ie or we will be in the Marshes Shopping Centre this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm.
If you have an old T-Shirt from a previous year come along and wear that, and even if you don’t have one wear just something yellow. Don’t forget warm clothing and proper footwear!
We would love if you would join us. Together we can continue to bring HOPE to so many people and realise our dream of having a Pieta Centre in the Northeast.
