SkyPark have raised a total amount of €4,000 for Tony Mulholland’s family through their Family Fun Day, which was held on Easter Monday. Tony, who was a part of the Carlingford Adventure Centre team for three years, was recently diagnosed with terminal cancer, and the team held an event to support his family as well as to launch their new season.
“I had a great day at SkyPark, and I really appreciate all those who came out and donated, it means a lot to me and my family,” said Tony.
“We wanted to show our support for Tony and his family and we are delighted that we could have a fun family day out as well as help the Mulholland family,” added Thomas McArdle, Managing Director of SkyPark and Carlingford Adventure Centre. “The SkyPark team would like to say a huge thank you to Tony’s friends and family and everyone, who came together to so generously support the event.”
Those who attended were able to tackle the several different zip lining courses, as well as try out body zorbing and archery. For the younger ones enjoyed bouncy castles, kindly donated by Bounce Magic and Face Painting. Soup and sandwiches were provided throughout the day. A great day was had by all who came and the weather was an added bonus.
SkyPark thanks all those who attended the event and donated, as well as PJ O’Hares, McKevitts Hotel, The Four Seasons Hotel, the Carrickdale Hotel, Taffes Castle and Candyford for offering their support.
