DkIT are eager to create opportunities to better connect our students with the local community, and are partnering with Dundalk Chamber to develop a Student Discount Card programme for 2023/2024. We are looking for local businesses and retailers who would be interested in joining the programme which would offer discounts and promotions to DkIT Students.
DkIT is located on the Dublin Road, Dundalk in a state-of-the-art 35-hectare campus, providing quality learning and teaching to circa 5,300 students across four Schools in Business and Humanities, Engineering, Health and Science, and Informatics and Creative Arts in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Level 6 to PhD level, in addition to its long history in craft apprenticeships. Attracting students locally, nationally and internationally we have a vibrant campus and student community.
Through this student discount initiative, we are encouraging our students to shop local and discover the range of retail and leisure businesses in the Dundalk. For companies and retailers who get involved it will offer advertisement and exposure of your business to our large student body as well as increasing footfall within your business.
Your business will be listed in our website, digital student handbook and on our Social Media posts. DkIT students will receive information on this Student Discount initiative as part of our DkIT student induction. Should students wish to avail of any discounts/ promotions they would present their STUDENT CARD (which will have their name, Student ID and picture displayed) to the retailer.
