Paddy Malone recently met with Joe Kennedy, US Special Envoy to Northern Ireland. Paddy took the opportunity to explain the Chamber’s work with Newry Chamber and cross border trade and the strategic significance of the M1 corridor and the wins so far.
He invited Joe to visit the area (as the other Joe had done!)
Joe explained to all those invited that he was delighted to say yes when the other Joe (Biden) asked him to go to Ireland.
The region offers unrivalled access to talent and infrastructure. There are 2.25 million people within 60 minutes of Dundalk & Drogheda, over one-third of the population of the island. Read more about the M1 Corridor at http://m1corridor.ie.
