The Executive MBA has been designed to provide participants with a general management yet highly strategic perspective on business. This comprehensive business education programme will equip individuals with the skills and knowledge required for effective senior management in the 21st century. The programme is open to graduates from a range of industry sectors, but specifically those with significant experience in functional areas, such as IT, operations, marketing, finance, engineering, hospitality, etc., who are aspiring toward senior management positions. The programme covers key competency areas such as management, finance and HRM, and includes an overseas leadership residential at Babson College, Boston, USA.
The course is part-time over two years and delivered in a manner to reflect the needs of participants. The expressions of interest to date indicate a demand for this programme in the North East and it is the intention of the Institute to start the programme in September 2014 with the initial residential element, the venue for this residential weekend will be decided closer to September.
DkIT have been delivering an MBA programme in the northeast for over 20 years to service the executive management education needs of the region.
