iGo Racing at Dundalk Stadium

iRadio i105-107FM has teamed up with Dundalk Stadium to organise ‘iGo Racing’, a fun filled night of entertainment and sport, which will take place at Dundalk Stadium on Friday, April 29. The ‘iGo Racing’ night at Dundalk Stadium is a special date for Dundalk’s sport and social calendar, as it will have live horse racing, greyhound racing and broadcasting by i105-107FM DJs from 6:30pm.

“Everyone here at Dundalk Stadium is very excited to be working with iRadio i105-107FM on this unique event. The iTeam are going to take over the stadium for one evening only and we are really looking forward to welcoming everyone to the iGo Racing night,” said Emma Meehan, sales and marketing manager, Dundalk Stadium. “There will be an incredible atmosphere at the Stadium on April 29, as the response to the evening has exceeded all our expectations. If you haven’t been lucky enough to secure a free ticket from i105-107Fm, patrons can still pay the normal cover charge on the evening at the Stadium.”

iRadio presenter Simon Murdoch will kick off the ‘iGo Racing’ night. There will be seven horse races with the first race off at 6:30pm. An eight-race greyhound card will follow at 9:50pm. There will also be a live performance by Hot Fuss and the iTeam will be giving away prizes for listeners and those in attendance on the night.

“The response to iGo Racing at Dundalk Stadium has been overwhelming,” said Keith Walsh, presenter of the popular iRadio i105-107FM morning show ‘Breakfast with Bernard and Keith’. “We received more than 40,000 text messages from people looking for tickets, which is amazing. It’s the first time a radio station will host a listeners party in a racing stadium and we are expecting a night of great craic.”

Dundalk Stadium is Ireland’s first all-weather, floodlit racecourse and is the world’s first dual purpose horse and greyhound stadium.
