‘Remembering Adrian’, the major concert in tribute of the late Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe will raise funds for a sports scholarship aimed at young people.
The public response to the concert which takes place in St Joseph’s Redemptorist Church on Friday, January 29th 2016 has been tremendous with tickets proving to be in demand as Christmas gifts.
Artists appearing on the night will be The Priests, Liam Lawton, Stewart Agnew, Kathleen Maddy, YouTube sensation Leah Kirwan & St Joseph’s Redemptorist Senior Choir.
MC for the night will be RTEs Eileen Dunne.
While it had originally been confirmed that funds raised from ‘Remembering Adrian’ would go to causes close to Adrian’s heart, organisers are delighted to confirm that money raised will go towards a sports scholarship, aimed at young people though not confined to a specific sport or college.
The event has received the wholehearted support of Caroline Donohoe who attended the announcement of details of the Concert at which she said
“This concert is a fantastic tribute to Adrian and a beautiful way for us to celebrate who Adrian still is and will always be to us.
“Words cannot express how very grateful I am to everyone involved from the artists to the organisers and I wish them all every success.”
