Met Éireann have issued an Orange level rainfall warning. Heavy rain expected on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Wednesday night with the possibility of thundery downpours, will lead to localised flooding. Disruption is likely. Please be advised to impacts of the Orange warning will affect commuting times.

Met Eireann has also issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning with heavy rain expected on Tuesday night and Wednesday, with the possibility of thundery downpours, will lead to localised flooding and some disruption.

The recent spells of heavy rainfall has increased the levels on all river catchments, with the ground saturated and waterlogged in some areas. Local Authority Severe Weather Assessment Teams are advised to monitor Met Éireann for further updated and monitor local conditions during this period.
