Want to know more about opera? Enjoy an evening of fine wine with a 4 course dinner and opera, sung by soprano Evelyne Bourton on 29th May in Carlingford.
Prior to her Italian sojourn in The International Lyric Academy in Rome and the Bel Canto Institute in Urbania and Verona, Evelyne will perform for one night only at Ghan House.
Spanning the age of Ghan House – the last 250 years, Evelyne will showcase selected works covering this period. Evelyne invites us on a journey into the lives of the characters from selected operas composed by Handel, Mozart, Puccini and Gershwin. Along the way she will untangle the plots and plight of these characters. The evening will end with the tones of Cole Porter.
Whether Opera is a new or old friend to you, there will be plenty to tantalize your taste buds. The evening will take place in the drawing room of Ghan House with the performance taking place between the 4 courses of dinner with the option of matched wines.
