St. Patrick’s Day 2013

The plans for the St. Patricks Day Festival 2013 are well underway. Official organisers of the festival have begun planning the event which takes place on Sunday March 17th 2013. There will be fun, craic agus ceol to be had by all!

The official launch of the festival will take place in February. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better and all things green will be celebrated. The Parade will also remind us what a great place Dundalk is to live, work, visit and invest in. The Parade which will commence at 1pm at Patrick Street turning right onto Clanbrassil Street in the traditional manner and with family entertainment taking place after a great day will be had by all.

In this years parade we hope to welcome a wider range of cultures and community groups  The green feeling is taking over this year with a little bit of the leprechauns luck being spread to all around our magical town.

Entry forms are now available for all those eager to take part. We invite those who feel they can bring a bit of extra sparkle to the St. Patricks Day parade this year. Make your entry something special and try to stand out from the rest of the crowd. The deadline for applications is Friday 8th March 2013.  The parade will take place (rain, hail or shine!)

The parade is open to non-commercial entries only. The emphasis is on community and culture. Please note applications are welcome from all interested parties.
