Moderate Weather Warning for Rain for Louth

Met Eireann warn that spells of rain will be heavy at times in the coming days. Strong and gusty east to southeast winds at times. Possible Impacts include:

  • Localised Flooding
  • Reduced Visibility
  • Dangerous Road Conditions

Tonight (Tuesday 17th) will be wet and breezy with heavy rain moving northwards bringing a further chance of localised flooding overnight. The clearance of that rain will be followed by a short break and then further rain later in the night. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in a moderate to fresh and gusty southeast wind.

Wednesday will be cloudy with widespread outbreaks of rain, turning heavy at times. Drying up in the southwest by evening, becoming mainly confined to the east and north. Milder than recent days, with highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees, in a moderate to fresh and gusty east to southeast wind, easing in southern areas later.
