Dundalk based company Dromad Hire have been recognised as the number one hire company in all of the British Isles and Ireland.
The Executive Hire awards took place Wednesday 9th of February in the Ricoh arena Coventry. With over 360 hire stores in the running, Dromad was up against the industries elite. Not only did the Irish company win the main award but clocked up the highest points score since the awards started in 2007.
The European and English judges commented “With an outstanding point’s score of 63 out of 70, the highest in four years since the executive awards were launched, Dromad Hire is overall winner; Dromad has a genuine passion for all aspects of hire and has innovated successfully into new markets to buffer the effects of the recession. It has maintained traditional values of engineering excellence across diverse inventories and its level of customer satisfaction and recommendation is second to none. The professionalism of Dromad is a benchmark for our industry”
On the run up to the awards the judging panel have been intensely mystery shopping all finalists with both suppliers and customers.
Dromad Hire managing director Seamus Byrne and general manager Ronan Cotter both attended the awards during a trip to a show, commenting on the award Byrne stated “ To win something to this really lifts our spirits and demonstrates that an Irish company can compete with the industries best. This award is down to our willing highly skilled and motivated staff, the staff is the company, and the company is the staff”
On the night Ronan Cotter commented “To be recognised at an international level for our level of service, being so progressive and customer focused. And then come out on top, this makes us want to improve more”
This will certainly put Dromad Hire on the Hire industry map.
