Ceramicist Sarah McKenna commented, “We are delighted to be able to come together once again to showcase the wealth of talented makers in the northeast with our forthcoming Winter Weekender. The Louth Craftmark Designers Network is going from strength to strength, with our driving force being the promotion and support of each of our members’ work. We would encourage people to look closer to home for Christmas gifts this year and if possible, to Shop Local, and Buy Irish.”

Many of the artists involved also create bespoke and commissioned work, so if customers would like to gift that someone special an original piece of art this Christmas, the Winter Weekender would be the perfect time to enquire about this service.

Caóilfíonn Murphy O'Hanlon (Cushla of Gullion) is just one of the many local artists participating. Her pieces make very popular gifts for loved ones living abroad!
