Dundalk Chamber hosted another very successful Embassy visit when The Brazilian Embassy came to Dundalk to meet local companies in order to forge business links.
Counsellor Pedro Scalisse, Head of Business, Trade and Investment of The Embassy of Brazil in Dublin and Mr Antonio Neto, Business, Trade and Investment Officer, came to Dundalk to meet with companies from around the North-East to discuss business & partnership potential.
During the meeting the representatives explained to Declan Murphy, Dundalk Chamber and Michael McCabe, Louth Co. Co. Business Support Unit that there were significant opportunities for local business to partner with Brazilian companies who are currently trying to internationalise.
The Brazilian delegation stated that Ireland was the ‘ideal gateway’ to Europe and that Dundalk ticked all the boxes in relation to being a location to do business.
This is just one in a series of many visits which Dundalk Chamber has organized. The meetings took place in Oriel Shared Services in the Finnabair Business Park.
This is just another example of the Chamber creating new links for local companies. Due to the success of the meetings, Dundalk Chamber will play host to more Embassies including The Ethiopian Embassy on April 10th 2012.
