The Darkness exploded into the public consciousness for both their unique brand of glammed-up rock and outrageous stage costumes when their debut album ‘Permission To Land’ shot to number one, spawning new rock anthems including ‘Love Is Only A Feeling’, ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’ and ‘Growing On Me’. 2015 sees the band release their fourth album, provisionally titled Cliffhanger, scheduled for release in March 2015. It follows the band’s 2012 comeback Hot Cakes, and also marks the debut of the band’s new drummer, Emily Dolan Davies, who replaced founding member Ed Graham in late 2014.
