Aspray announce prize winner

Sally McDonnell of Blackrock, Co Louth is the delighted winner of a voucher for McAteers’ The Food House donated by Aspray Dublin & NE Ireland, property insurance claims and repairs service, following their recent appearance at the Bank of Ireland’s Enterprise Week.  Sally had called into the Dundalk branch of Bank of Ireland to lodge a cheque and stopped to chat to local business owners Christina Crummy and Michael King who were exhibiting their Aspray business.

Coinciding with the anniversary of their first year in business, Christina and Michael spent a day in the bank telling customers about their no charge service which looks after people who have suffered damage to their property and need to claim on their insurance.  “When damage happens people can be at a bit of a loss as to what they should or can do.  Our service is designed to help them from start to finish whilst minimising the stress and upset at what can be a difficult time.  And believe it or not we don’t charge for the service as we manage all the repair work and bill the insurance company direct.” said Christina.

With baby number 3 imminent for Christina year 2 looks set to be busier than ever for the Aspray team – but her business partner Michael isn’t too worried.  “We now have our systems and support in place and whilst I wouldn’t say we won’t miss Christina everything is in order to grow from strength to strength.  From past experience, and knowing her hardworking attitude, she’ll be back at the helm before we realise she’s gone!”
