Bonny Baby at County Louth Agricultural Show

Every baby is bonny but in the eyes of their doting parents, some babies are bonnier than others! If you think your baby is the bonniest of them all then be sure to show off your little bundle of joy at the County Louth Agricultural Show at Dundalk Stadium, Racecourse Road, Dundalk on Sunday 19th June.

The ever popular Bonny Baby competitions are open for all babies, right up to the age of 3 year old.  Last year over 200 babies took part in the fun event as proud parents (and grannies) were keen to show off their bonny babies and this year will be no different.

Entries for the Bonny Baby Competitions are taken on the day of the show and judges include award winning photographer Emma Clarke from Paddy Clarke Photography Dundalk and out to prove she’s no Louis Walsh in the judging stakes and doesn’t fall for tears and tantrums is Anne Campbell from the Argus Newspaper.  The overall winner in each age group will receive a gift voucher from Paddy Clarke Photography Dundalk.  Paddy Clarke Photography also has a little treat lined up for every baby that enters so no baby will go home empty handed.  As an added bonus there will be free children’s entertainment with bouncy castles, slides and lots, lots more

Don’t forget it’s not just the babies who will be showing off on the day, there is also the Best Dressed Competitions.  Categories for Best Dressed include Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Teenager, Best Dressed Gent and Most Glamorous Granny. As competition is going to be fierce in the Best Dressed Categories, some of the most stylish and in-demand judges have been chosen.  The judges include Caroline McElroy from the Make Yourself Amazing Image Consultancy (www.mya.ie) and Brendan Galvin the Louth, Cavan, Dublin and Leitrim Rose Centre Coordinator.   They recommend that hopeful participants whilst looking stylish and well groomed are dressed appropriately for a show day.

To make sure you get your fashion fix at the Show, The Marshes Shopping Centre will be launching their pre ‘Ladies’ Day’ catwalk extravaganza. This exciting fashion event will showcase the ultimate in ladies’ day style that is available at Marshes and will give guests an exclusive look at the key trends that are sure to be featured in every fashion fan’s wardrobe this summer.  To secure your VIP place, register by visiting www.marshesshopping.com or www.dundalkstadium.com and start planning your outfit.
