With Dundalk FC setting the standard it is now time for the Dundalk Santa Fun Run to follow suit with a double record attempt taking place on Friday 27th November. The first record a Santa Conga Line attempt is at 9am starting and finishing on the Market Square but doing a route around the town including a visit to the Double winners in Oriel Park. The second attempt the Santa Fun Run is our own record which we set in 2013 and we need 5,000 Santas to break this record.
The Registration Shop for this year’s record attempting Dundalk Santa Run 2015 will open on Monday 16th November at 9.30am in the Longwalk Shopping Centre and will close on Friday 27th at 1pm. Registration costs are €5 for children/students, €10 for adults and €25 for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) these include race tags and Santa Suits but this year we have a registration only cost of €2 for people who have suits from previous years but still want to take part in the record attempt.
The route for the main Charity Santa Fun Run will be the same as last year starting at Tesco Extra and finishing at the Post Office on Clanbrassil Street near Dundalk On Ice.
Dundalk Santa Run is a fantastic initiative to support local charities and for families to have great fun at the same time.
