There were Lots of Laughs when Louth Senior Football Team took on the GAA Teambuilding Challenge at Carlingford Adventure Centre.
Louth Senior Football Team visited Carlingford Adventure Centre for a tailor made GAA themed teambuilding day. Some of the activities were based on Gaelic Football and each task was marked on a point system to incorporate healthy competition.
The players took part in The High Ropes Course, challenged with climbing somewhat cautiously up a 35ft totem pole to reach a tiny platform, to catch a ball and kick it to another team member. Then jump the LEAP OF FAITH to the Trapeze! A brilliant test of accuracy and overcoming fears!
The team also took part in an Archery Challenge shooting at the crests of opposing counties, this revealed a real killing instinct from some of the players.
Then onto the ZORBING, with 2 players strapped inside a massive inflatable ball and rolled down a hill. Their team mates had to throw balls and try to get them into the Zorb. No easy feat!
While strapped into a BODY ZORB, a donut shaped inflatable ball the team had to manoeuvre their way around an obstacle course. No strategy in this activity – Just a lot of Laughing and falling over!
A fantastic and rather action packed day was had by all. Manager Aidan O Rourke said “Thomas and the Team at Carlingford Adventure Centre were amazing and offered fantastic support to us. I would recommend them to anyone organising a teambuilding day”
The team had a meet and greet with some of the local children and even managed a kick about outside Taffes Castle.
Tom & Thomas Mc Ardle and all the staff at Carlingford Adventure Centre wish the Louth Senior Football Team every success in 2013.
