This Family Business Breakfast Seminar to be hosted by PKF-FPM Accountants Limited and Dundalk Chamber of Commerce will aim to identify and resolve common challenges and issues faced by family businesses.
Family Businesses comprise over 75% of all the businesses in Ireland and the UK and it is estimated that over 50% of people employed are employed in family businesses. The more startling fact is only 30% survive the second generation and less than 12% the third generation, highlighting that assistance is needed to help the transition of our family businesses to the next generation and thus to safeguard our indigenous businesses.
Family Businesses are the backbone of our economy and it is vital that we harness all that is good within these businesses to maximise their potential and put the necessary structures in place to implement business succession in whatever form is appropriate to each individual business. This seminar will be of interest to family businesses, who wish to increase the sustainability and survival rate of their business.
This event will take place at Creative Spark, Clontygora Ct, Marshes Upper, Dundalk on Wednesday the 29th March at 9.00am to 11.00am. It is free of charge and will include tea, coffee and Danish.
