The launch night for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is set for Thursday 26th February at An Táin Arts Centre. After such a great sporting success this year in the Dundalk area we are delighted to announce that Stephen Kenny, Dundalk FC Manager, will be Grand Marshal for this year’s parade. With Dundalk FC winning their 10th league title this year after 19 years in waiting it seemed appropriate to have Stephen officially launch this wonderful family fun event. We hope the Dundalk FC’s success may continue and the St. Patrick’s Day committee wish them the very best of luck this season.
This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be an even bigger, better and more colourful event than ever. The Parade in Dundalk has been going from strength to strength with approximately 20,000 spectators enjoying the fun and consequently it remains one of the major events in our spring calendar. There will be loads of entertainment for all ages throughout the town during the St. Patrick’s weekend, so keep an eye on the Dundalk Events Guide for up to date information.
