Castlecool, Ireland’s largest independent Temperature Control and Logistics company has requalified as one of Ireland’s ‘Best Managed’ companies in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards Programme 2011.
Winner of a prestigious Deloitte Best Managed Company award in 201o, Castlecool has been awarded for the second year running for demonstrating superior business performance at its three sites in Castleblayney, Lough Egish and Dundalk.

Founded and managed by Paul Shortt, Castlecool has a solid customer base in Ireland comprising of major food and beverage companies in the dairy and retail food sectors, North as well as South. Services range from temperature controlled warehousing (chilled, frozen and ambient) through to distribution in Ireland, the UK and internationally. Castlecool currently has a warehousing capacity of 285,000 sq. ft. along with 44, 500 pallet spaces, and is looking to expand into new industries that require Temperature Control warehousing such as the Pharmaceutical industry.
