SVP Annual Food and Toy Appeal

Every year the Society of St. Vincent de Paul organise and distribute over 1000 food parcels to families in need locally.  It is an onerous task and one that cannot do without the help and support from local Businesses / Schools.  This year is set to be our busiest year on record.  SVP again are calling on you to assist them in gathering food and / or small gifts for children / teenagers.  The details are as follows:

Food Appeal

See PDF for a sample list of items that are in a standard food parcel for 2 adults and 2 children.

Toy Appeal

SVP organise toys for children and teenagers.  Giving Tree tags are available.  Your employees may wish to organise a gift for a particular aged child / teenager, attach the tag and they arrange for it to go to a good home.  SVP are always in need of items for teenagers.

Collection of food and / or toy donations:

SVP are again distributing our food parcels from the former Toymaster building on the Longwalk.  SVP can arrange to receive items there or will collect if necessary.  They ideally would need all items in by Thursday 13th so as to allow them to prepare parcels and give to families on the weekend of Dec 15th / 16th.

Please contact Liam on info@liamreilly.ie with a date in mind and he will arrange collection should you require it.
