Learn from the Best

Now is the time to book your place at a Major Tourism Conference titled “Learn from the Best”. Organized by Dundalk Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Local Enterprise Office Louth, Louth County Council and the Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford, this event will bring experts together from various Tourism projects around Ireland so that you can replicate it in your own business.  There will be practical tips on how to improve your tourism business so you can increase your sales and boost attendance figures at your attraction!

There will be six key speakers at the event including Michael Collins from Travel Media who will discuss SEO for Travel and Tourism Content Marketing, Sammy Leslie from Castle Leslie will tell her story on how she has made Castle Leslie a star attraction.

Later Karen Henderson of Visit Derry will cover “Marketing Derry as a Tourism Destination and the impact festivals have on the city”. Colm Brehney of Failte Ireland will discuss sharing the benefits of Ireland’s Ancient East and how it can help grow your business.

Siobhan McGuigan of Type AB Consultancy will talk about the Belfast Christmas Market and Keeping It Fresh. Gavin and Sarah Mackie of Larchfield Estate will tell their story on how they created a new market by being different.

President of Michael Gaynor is delighted with the superb line up of speakers who all have a wonderful story to help and their experience is bound to help local tourism providers.

This half day event takes place on Wednesday the 11th April 2018 in the Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford from 8.30am to 2m. There will also be a Tourism Advisory Clinic with exhibits from Local Enterprise Office Louth, Failte Ireland, Southern Regional College, Louth Leader Partnership, and Louth County Council Planning Office.

There will also be over 30 stands exhibiting on the day.

Admission to the conference is only €20 plus vat for Chamber members and €30 plus vat for non-members and this includes lunch and refreshments.
