Dundalk IT run a schedule of work placement modules during the academic year (Sept – May). There are a team of Placement Development Officers who work across a variety of disciplines and timelines with Joyce O Hara (joyce.ohara@dkit.ie) coordinating the management work placement across the Institute as a whole.
As a matter of immediate action, DkIT are placing the following programmes:
- Hons. BA in Film & Television Production (3rd &4th year): 4-5 weeks, November 15th 2021
- Hons. BSc. in Computing (3rd year): 15 weeks, Jan. 24th 2022
- Hons. BA in Creative Media (3rd year): 6 weeks, Feb. 28th 2022
However, please note that the there are a variety of programmes going out for work placement each year (including additional creative-focussed programmes that are managed by other Placement Development Officers).
