Dundalk St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2016 sponsored by Dundalk Credit Union, Fyffes and Louth County Council are hoping this year to have a record number of entries taking part as the number of bookings received so far for this time of year are up. With that being the case we are now looking for 20ft flatbed trucks as our parade participant’s requests for floats are up too. Any businesses who is willing to volunteer their truck and driver for the parade can contact Ann or Kim at 042 9336343 or email certs@dundalk.ie.
There is plenty of entertainment and events taking place around the town for the St Patrick’s Day weekend starting on Wednesday evening in An Tain Theatre with the St Patrick’s Eve Concert tickets available at usual outlets.
The parade will be followed by a family fun area on the Market Square with lots of activities including carousels, bouncing castles, climbing walls, playtrailers, market stalls and much, much more. A single wristband will cost €6 and a family pass will cost €20 (4 children) these will be on sale before the big day, visit us on facebook for further updates.
Parade committee are still accepting parade entrants up until Friday 11th March so if your group or club are interested in taking part contact the parade team at 042 9336343.
