Louth in Bloom

Louth County Council is delighted to announce the highly anticipated “Louth in Bloom” competition, is now open for entries/nomination. The competition is a celebration of excellence in enhancing Louth’s visual appeal and promoting vibrant communities. Now in its fourth year, it aims to recognise and honour the individuals, businesses, and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to enhancing Louth’s natural beauty and creating inviting spaces.

The categories in this competition included: Best Gardens, Best Housing Estates, Best Biodiversity Project, Best Hospitality and Business Premises. A new category is introduced this year: Best Sustainable Innovative Initiative/Project. This category recognises initiatives or projects that demonstrate exceptional innovation in sustainability, introducing novel ideas, technologies, or approaches to address environmental challenges within the county.

Prizes will be awarded for each of the three district areas of Ardee, Drogheda and Dundalk, with an overall county winner in each category. The winners will be invited to attend an awards ceremony, in Bellingham Castle on 23rd October 2023.
