Better Energy Communities Grant 2018

There is still time for local community groups, sports facilities, private businesses and public sector organisations to apply for up to 50% from Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland’s Better Energy Community Funding.

For the last number of years, Louth County Council has led a community application for various beneficiaries to SEAI under their Better Energy Communities Funding Programme. The absolute closing date for that application to be submitted to SEAI is 26 January 2018, but we would need to finalise details for beneficiaries by 15 January to complete the application by the deadline date.

If you think you are interested, or if you represent people or organisation’s whom you think may be interested in embarking on an energy upgrade project, do get in touch with the Council’s Sustainable Energy Team on 042 9324371.

This project while entitled as community is also targeted at businesses. The Council have a number of supports, some not well known, of which this is one. If you do pursue this with the Council, the Chamber would appreciate any feedback, both positive and negative.

Now is the time to enter your business in the Louth Business Awards 2022. There are 23 categories of awards this year, giving you a fantastic selection to choose from.
