Business networking is essential to grow your business, gain new customers, clients and contacts. Getting face to face with a potential client or partner is the only way you really know whether you can do business with them or not. However, traditional networking events can sometimes be unproductive, as many of us tend to gravitate towards those we already know, never getting the opportunity to meet other potential lucrative business contacts.
That is why on Tuesday the 24th November Dundalk Chamber in conjunction with Londonderry Chamber and Strabane Chamber will host a Cross Border Speed Networking Event, guaranteeing you the opportunity to meet a large number of individuals that you would never otherwise have had the chance to network with. We will also have delegates attending from Letterkenny Chamber and Strabane Chamber.
This event is sponsored by InterTrade Ireland and will be held in the Tower Hotel in Derry. The bus will depart from McGeoughs at Roden Place Dundalk at 7am and will arrive in Derry at 9.30am. On arrival guests will be given tea/ coffee followed by Speed Networking from 10.30am until 12.30pm. This will be followed by lunch and at 2pm guests will be brought on a tour of Derry. The bus will then depart for Dundalk at 3.45pm. Cost is €50 for members and €60 for non.
Registration will take place at 9.30a.m. The format for the day will involve 2 forty-minute sessions of networking. Delegates will be divided into two groups and allocated 3 minutes to network with a member of the opposite group before moving onto the next delegate.
During the event two draws will take place, with two winners given the opportunity to present their company details to all attendees.
Facilities will also be available to register your services and also register any business needs you may have. Co-hosting the event with Londonderry Chamber of Commerce will afford you the opportunity to network with Chamber members from both sides of the Border.
Upon registering for the event you will receive an information pack outlining the format for the event. Places are limited so we would encourage you to book early by calling Brenda on Tel: 042 9336343 or email her to brenda@dundalk.ie
