Ferociously funny yet compelling, humorous yet moving – this is the story of two women, Peggy and her daughter Angela. Peggy survives the Cavan Orphanage fire in the late 30s, and has a baby which is then forcibly taken from her for adoption. Angela is now 39 and the play is a human tale of her odyssey to find her biological mother. Interspersed with mirth and poignancy, the play becomes a searing exploration of one of the darkest chapters in the history of modern Ireland.
