When & Where
Dundalk Theatre Workshop
Based on the life of Jacqueline du Pré, the cellist who rose to huge acclaim in the 1960s until she was struck by MS in 1971, the play asks the question, how do you go on living when all hope has gone? It is a noble and deeply moving piece of theatre, filled with wit, insight and a refusal to wallow in misfortune. It touches on something profound about what Wordsworth described as the still sad music of humanity. With Tim Ahern, Gabrielle Tuomey, and Lyndsey O’Neill. Directed by Bernard Dunne.
