Event Details

Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. For Culture Night 2016 there will be a late night opening at An Táin Arts Centre’s visual arts space, The Basement Gallery, with a solo exhibition and open studio presented by our visual artist in residence Úna Curley.

Our Family Hangout area will be open in the foyer, with face painting and a taster origami workshop taking place. There will also be free tours of the theatre, where audiences will have the opportunity to learn about the heritage of the building, and get a glimpse behind the scenes of a working arts space.

Culture Night is brought to you by the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs in partnership with the regional arts offices, local authorities and cultural organisations throughout the island of Ireland.
